Banana Bread

Utensils

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  3. Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in.
  4. Add the flour last, mix well.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for a few minutes.
  8. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Banana and Peanut Butter Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness with honey, if desired.
  4. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Banana Nice Cream

Duration: 5 minutes

Creamy and beyon delicious.

  • Food processor or high-powered blender
  • Container (if freezing for a firmer texture)

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas, peeled, sliced, and frozen
  • 2 tablespoons plant-based milk (such as almond or coconut milk)
  • Optional toppings: chopped nuts, shredded coconut, chocolate chips, fresh fruit

Instructions

  1. Place the frozen banana slices in a food processor or high-powered blender.
  2. Add the plant-based milk.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  4. If the mixture is too thick, you can add more plant-based milk, a little at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
  5. Serve immediately as soft-serve ice cream or transfer to a container and freeze for a firmer texture.
  6. Enjoy as is or add your favorite toppings before serving.
