Sage is an herb from an evergreen shrub, Its long, grayish-green leaves take on a velvety, cotton-like texture when rubbed.

It has a fragrant aroma and an astringent but warm flavour that pairs beautifully with pork, beef, duck and chicken dishes. As you may know, it is also used as an ingredient in stuffing to add an earthy and slightly peppery taste to it.

This tasty herb contains vitamins A, C, and E. As well as plenty of antioxidants!
