Recipe: Sautéed Field Mushrooms with Garlic and Thyme


  • 500g field mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


  1. Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add the sliced field mushrooms to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they release their moisture and turn golden brown.
