When cooked, Padron peppers have an intense flavour – sweet and a little nutty. These peppers have a slight kick to them. It’s a delightful balance between flavour and heat!

They can be paired with scallops or other meats, but they have a large variety of other uses that make them excellent additions during cooking.

Padron peppers are an excellent source of vitamins C, B6, and K and are a good source of dietary fiber, which can help improve digestion!

A Top tip for cooking

  1. Grab a pan and pour in some Teds Veg Rape Seed Oil
  2. Rinse your peppers and dry well, do not remove the stalks
  3. As the pan starts to sizzle, add a generous amount of Padron Peppers
  4. As the peppers start to blister away nicely, add some crushed sea salt for added flavour!
  5. Cooking time should be around 10-15 minutes, until the peppers becomes soft to touch and a little deflated.
  6. Place in a bowl and enjoy as a side dish or snack.
  7. Grab the peppers using the stalks and pull the flesh away in one mouthful.
  8. ENJOY!
