Recipe: Baked Gala Apples with Cinnamon and Maple Syrup


  • 4 Gala apples
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, for serving (optional)


  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Core the Gala apples and cut a small slice off the bottom of each apple to create a stable base.
